Canine Manners Class

Tired of your dog jumping on guests and pestering them, dashing out the door, and snagging up chicken bones on your walk? Canine Manners Class is a place where we will teach you to elicit good canine etiquette from your dog. Teaching wait, leave it, come, polite greetings, how to settle and more, this class will be a valuable source for making a better life with your dog.

Beginning Scent Detection
This will be your dog's favorite game!*


Teach your dog to play the game all dogs love!** First we will teach your dog to identify a target odor. Then we will play the "find it" game that dogs and people can play together. Fun for both dogs and handlers, 100% based on rewards and reinforcement, scent detection will burn energy and leave your dog tired!  It's also a great remedial for shy dogs and reactive dogs. You will need to bring a portable crate for your dog and delicious treats.

Basic Obedience

Teach your dog the seven behaviors he/she needs to know so that your canine companion will be a polite member of the community, and so you can have dog walks you both enjoy. Sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, hand targeting and eye contact – all taught using our easy-to-learn positive reinforcement techniques. Training will build a positive bond with your dog. Your dog will love to learn and you will have a great time too!

Advanced Scent Detection**
​The game dogs love to play!


Any dog can play!*** Teach your dog to identify the six target odors used in national competitions. Here’s a game dogs and people can play together that requires NO obedience, is 100% based on rewards and reinforcement, and will make your dog tired from thinking! Great for competition fun, a rainy day or anytime your dog needs something constructive to do. Fun for handlers too! Please bring a portable crate for your dog and delicious treats.

Canine Good Citizen class​​

Would you like your dog to be a Canine Good Citizen? We offer a 6 week class to teach you the skills required to pass the CGC test; at the last class the Canine Good Citizen test will be administered and ribbons awarded.

Puppy Kindergarten

Puppy K is a safe space for your puppy to learn social skills and beginning obedience skills, while you learn about puppy development, things to do and things NOT to do. Puppies NEED socialization in their first 16 weeks. This is vital to establish good social skills around other dogs and people when they grow up. If you quarantined your child for his first 12 years he wouldn't have good social skills; don't do that to your puppy!
